Hi, I’m Rachel.

Art Director with a passion for brand, nature, and design.

Creative Problem Solving & Art direction

I’m a Senior Art Director and Creative Lead with 8+ years building brands from concept to completion. I’m drawn to work that connects people to something real, whether that’s a place, a feeling, or the natural world. My background spans brand identity, illustration, motion, and print, with a belief that the best design has a point of view and a reason to exist. I grew up in Colorado and have spent my life outside, and that love of nature, detail, and craftsmanship shows up in everything I make.

What I Do Best

Concept

Every project starts with a strong idea. I dig into the brand, the audience, and the goal before anything hits the page, so the creative has direction from the start.

l

Craft

From illustration to motion to print, I build work that’s polished, intentional, and made to last. The details matter.

Quality

I see every project through from first sketch to final file. No handoff gaps, no dropped balls. Just clean, ready-to-go work delivered on time.

Rachel first did a discovery session with me where we went into the essence of my company and brand. I could tell right away she was a skilled creative artist who puts her clients first. While we worked together, I felt I could trust her because of her timeliness, responsiveness and willingness to receive feedback. I love my logo! Thank you Rachel.

Rachel, our amazing, amazing designer based out of Fort Collins, CO. She created our brand guidelines, designed the mockups / look-and-feel of the website, did all the illustrations for Galvorn World, made our first promo video, designed new packaging (and led the effort to find a sustainable vendor), new collateral, etc. etc. Her design talent is unparalleled.

The common thread through all her work is the thoughtfulness she puts into her design. You can have a conversation about what you are thinking, she’ll ask questions to dig deeper and understand, and then voila! That thing you wanted, but couldn’t quite envision or articulate is there in front of you. Across the board, Rachel goes above and beyond, seamlessly running with projects once you give her an idea of what you need

Key Skills

Art Direction

I lead creative projects from the first concept to the final deliverable, shaping the visual language and making sure every element is working together toward a clear, cohesive idea.

Illustration & Hand Craft

I create original illustrations that are detailed, intentional, and built to connect. Whether digital or traditional, I bring a personal touch to every piece.

Creative Concepts

I develop ideas that go beyond aesthetics, rooted in the brand’s story and the audience it’s trying to reach. Good concepts make the execution feel inevitable.

Visual Storytelling

I design with narrative in mind, building visuals that guide the eye, set a mood, and leave an impression.

Brand Consistency

I understand how to build and maintain a visual identity across every touchpoint, keeping things fresh without losing the thread.

Design Tools

Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro), Figma, PowerPoint, and Canva.
